A processing chain jointly employing Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 data is presented. It aims at monitoring changes in the status of the vegetation cover by integrating the three red-edge (RE) bands of Sentinel-2, at 20 m pixel spacing, with textural features calculated from the Interferometric Wide (IW) Ground Range Detected (GRD) product of Sentinel-1, available at 10 m pixel spacing. Hyper-sharpening on Sentinel-2 multispectral bands and modulation-based integration of Sentinel-1 SAR acquisitions are applied on a multitemporal dataset acquired before and after a recent fire event. New color-composite results of the proposed fusion procedure may be useful for visual inspection and analysis by experts in vegetation status monitoring.

Abstract
New color-composite results of the proposed fusion procedure may be useful for visual inspection and analysis by experts in vegetation status monitoring.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
