The Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) are responsible of increasing hospital admissions, prolongation of hospital stay, and emergency room (ER) visits. The aim of our study was to estimate the impact of the anticoagulant therapy with vitamin K antagonists (VKAs) in the elderly population (>65 years old) living in Grosseto (Italy), using current data flows.
