It is described an antibody, recombinant or synthetic fragments thereof able to recognise and bind at least one epitope of the myelin basic protein. The antibody is also able to recognise an epitope of the protein of the class of Fc receptors (FcR), namely CD64. Therapeutic applications are also disclosed.

Abstract
