Foreword As the issues of global climate change and loss of biodiversity challenge the future environmental stability of planet Earth, there has never been a time more important than now to further assess the impacts of environmental contamination. Hence, the publication of the book Wildlife Toxicology: Emerging Contaminant and Biodiversity Issues comes at a time to stimulate and challenge the academic and research communities as well as environmental public policy and decision makers to think more globally about environmental contaminants and their potential impacts on biodiversity and environmental degradation. I compliment one of the outstanding wildlife toxicology research teams in the world for bringing together a robust and visionary database in a book that will advance the science of wildlife toxicology and better improve our ability to preserve biodiversity and enhance environmental protection to sustain us into the future. Abstract
