The anthropological study of the Classical world, now widely established, deeply integrates with historical research. In the face of the new cultural context inaugurated by globalization and by the demise of cultural oppositions between East and West, strengthening the synergy between historical and anthropological perspective in research is important, while keeping the focus of attention on the path of tradition from ancient to modern days.
