La mole delle ricerche che riguardano la pratica del tradurre è enorme. La caratteristica della ricerca consiste nel fatto che la base di partenza non è data dalla filosofia del linguaggio o dagli studi di traduttologia, ma dall’antropologia, e il campo a cui la ricerca è rivolta è costituito specificamente dal mondo Greco, romano e Cristiano dei primi secoli.
