The general objective of the chapter is to briefly comment on the performance cycle regulated by art. 4 of the legislative decree no. 150/2009. In doing so, first of all the theme of performance measurement and evalutation is framed within the broader and more complex framework of the managerial reforms of public administrations. Subsequently, the technical profiles of the dictation of article 4 are taken into consideration. Finally, brief technical considerations are placed at the end of the chapter.
