The global transition to decarbonisation, as a prevailing manifestation of sustainability, and the so-called New Green, represent one of the most profound economic and social transformations of the present century. Decarbonisation is not simply the reduction of emissions, but a redefinition of how governments and actors in economic systems perceive and manage risk, how they share responsibilities, and balance the equilibrium between growth and risk protection in the current context. Abstract
The global transition to decarbonisation, as a prevailing manifestation of sustainability, and the so-called New Green, represent one of the most profound economic and social transformations of the present century. Production, finance, and governance of any kind of business and financial intermediary are being reshaped to face this new challenge, that imposes new forms of compliance with emerging regulation and standards in this field. Decarbonisation is not simply the reduction of emissions, but a redefinition of how governments and actors in economic systems perceive and manage risk, how they share responsibilities, and balance the equilibrium between growth and risk protection in the current context. This volume arises from the aim to systematise and somehow reframe the latest literature crowding the field of Pure Risk Management and Sustainability. It ranges from the Risk Theory to Pure Risk Management, to the Behavioural Economics and Disruptive Technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, and Regulatory profiles. It brings together a series of contributions that, while tackling the specific topics from different perspectives and methods, share the common research question: how does decarbonisation reshape the logic of risk, behaviour, and institutional approaches to stability protection?I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
