Tra autobiografismo e confessio: verso un osservatorio sull’autobiografia latina tardoantica

This paper introduces the Proceedings of the International Workshop entitled "In aula ingenti memoriae meae". Forme di autobiografia nella letteratura tardolatina, which was held in Siena on 13 and 24 June 2024 and represented the first step towards the construction of an international network, with a dedicated website, on the general trends of Latin autobiography between the IV and the VI sec. d.C. The thirteen contributions collected in this volume and written by some of the major specialists of Late antiquity analyze as many case studies related to that complex historical and cultural period.
