This chapter addresses the conversion of anti-fascism into anti-imperialism that brought left-wing, Western women to mobilize in favor of anti-colonial struggles. It does so by exploring the most important women’s organization within the Social–Communist orbit of the postwar period - the Women’s International Democratic Federation (WIDF) -, during the first decades of the Cold War.
