The research analyses the construction of the craft beer market in market in Brazil from the point of view of entrepreneurialisation of craft brewers, and the values and representations in which from a structure of social, symbolic, economic and resource opportunities enable the transformation of a hobby into an entrepreneurial activity. The methodological strategy inspired by Lahire's work was to use in-depth interviews to in-depth interviews to explore the various spheres of the interviewees' lives, and by reconstructing their life trajectories, to portray the construction of the craft beer market, emphasising the similarities, differences, diversities and continuities of a process that is taking place globally but is rooted in local in local processes. The expansion of microbreweries in this decade is the result of the entrepreneurialisation of craft brewers, who turn a hobby of making beer at home a hobby of brewing beer at home, in pots and pans, into a new career, reconverting their professional trajectories to identify themselves as a craft brewer, responsible for opening new microbreweries, using the knowledge and skills learnt and developed in these skills learnt and developed in this artisanal process.
