Radical, radicalization and violent radicalization are a new transdisciplinary field of adult education theory and practices. At the beginning of the 2000 they have been developed into a security and political debate but now we can find consistent tracks into social science and educational debate. Starting from a literature review this contribution shows that the term ‘radicalization’ is a category that can enrolled in the field of Adult Education Theory. Radicalization is a process that can happen into everyday life as an informal learning processes and it can be prevented and educating. The conclusions are developed using the case of the Centre for the Prevention of Radicalization Leading to Violence (Canada) showing that the prevention of violent behavior connected to radicalization can be faced in an educational way.
