This paper provides a syntactic analysis of the distribution of punctual time adverbials (e.g. 'at five o'clock') in Italian under the two interpretations in which they specify the Event Time and the Reference Time. This account is based on the syntactic process of 'smuggling' originally proposed in Chris Collins's (2005) analysis of the passive.

Abstract
This paper provides a syntactic analysis of the distribution of punctual time adverbials (e.g. 'at five o'clock') in Italian under the two interpretations in which they specify the Event Time and the Reference Time. This account is based on the syntactic process of 'smuggling' originally proposed in Chris Collins's (2005) analysis of the passive.File in questo prodotto:
