Clinically relevant hypoglycemia in nondiabetic patients is a rare event; evaluation for a hypoglycemic disorder in these patients should only occur if the Whipple triad is met: symptoms are consistent with hypoglycemia, glucose concentration is low when symptoms are present, and symptoms are relieved by glucose. We report a case of self-diagnosed hypoglycemia in a patient with behavioral peculiarities.
