There are several political discussions, discursive practices and assessments that, for many years, revolve around the concept of education, and even more the «quality» of education. The various contributions contained in this Section, provide support for the implementation of SDG 4 through a combination of research, projects, knowledge products and tools − both globally and locally − that start from these assumptions and seek to identify these conditions; in doing so, they encourage political dialogue on issues related to the governance of education and provide evidence (good practices) for defining the most useful policies for thinking about «quality education».
