Jacobo Kaufmann’s theatrical work is characterised by the presence of Jewish traces that the author utilises in an innovative way. In my analysis I’ll study Kaufmann’s theatrical characters and the Jewish identity that defines Kaufmann’s work. The aim is to offer an approach to an unpublished dramatic production that deals with geopraphical, cultural, linguistic and religious borders and boundaries in order to change them.

La obra dramática de Jacobo Kaufmann está caracteriza por la presencia constante de las huellas judías que el autor explota de manera innovadora. Lo que propongo es reflexionar sobre los personajes, que definiría chagallianos, de Kaufmann y analizar la temática relacionada con lo judío que define el teatro de este autor. La intención es la de ofrecer una aproximación a una producción dramática casi enteramente inédita y que juega con los confines y los límites (geográficos, culturales, lingüísticos, religiosos, etc.) para modificarlos.
