Cultural Heritage is a fundamental element of indigenous' peoples cultural identity and existence. Its proper preservation is therefore crucial in order to allow those peoples to live in harmony with the world and to pursue their life expectations. When indigenous peoples are deprived of their own cultural heritage, appropriate reparations represent a human rights imperative.
