All the catalogues of medieval manuscripts, dated or not, must be careful to writing. The scholars have shared rules to describe the phisical features of the books, but not of the writings, especially those of the 14th.-15th century. An online open catalogue could help scholars to compare writings and to properly date and identify the origin of manuscripts, in order to try to formulate a shared nomenclature.
