The aim of the present study was to investigate liposome suitability as FA carriers for topical administration. In addition, FA derivatives (ferulates) were considered as possible alternative candidates for encapsulation into vesicles, in light of their higher antioxidant activity4. For this purpose, interaction between FA and ferulates with the phospholipid bilayers was studied as well.

Abstract

The aim of the present study was to investigate liposome suitability as FA carriers for topical administration. In addition, FA derivatives (ferulates) were considered as possible alternative candidates for encapsulation into vesicles, in light of their higher antioxidant activity4. For this purpose, interaction between FA and ferulates with the phospholipid bilayers was studied as well.
