The main purpose of this paper is to develop some remarks of a philosophic and epistemologic nature on the cross relations between mind, from one side, and brain and body from the other. The specific model of mind that will be proposed let us to overcome both monism and dualism as well as reductionism. Mind it will be considered as a proper subset of the cerebral processes qhich end in the cerebral cortex
